Description
BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound 157) is a pentadecapeptide derived from a sequence within human gastric juice protein. Its repair mechanisms are multifactorial: it stimulates angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) to restore circulation to injured tissue; upregulates growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts; increases expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF); and modulates nitric oxide synthesis to improve local tissue perfusion. The result is accelerated healing across every connective tissue type — tendon, ligament, muscle, bone, cartilage — as well as gut epithelium and peripheral nerves.
For women specifically, BPC-157 is relevant beyond injury recovery. Its gut-lining repair properties address intestinal permeability — which is hormonally modulated (estrogen protects gut barrier integrity; progesterone can slow motility; stress erodes the mucosal layer). Its dopamine and serotonin system-modulating effects are being studied for mood stability and cyclical mood changes. And its systemic anti-inflammatory effect works alongside the Glow Collection — BPC-157 cross-lists there for its collagen-stimulating properties in skin and its wound-healing effects. It is often the first peptide women try, and for good reason: the breadth of its action means almost everyone notices something.
Female-calibrated dosing: 250–500mcg subcutaneously (near injury site or systemically) daily or 5 days/week. For gut use: oral BPC-157 (dissolved in water) at 250mcg 2x/day. Cycle 4–8 weeks for acute repair; ongoing at lower doses for systemic support. No significant cycle phase contraindications.
Storage: Store lyophilized powder below -20°C. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 30 days.
