Description
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide corresponding to the active fragment of the pineal gland regulatory protein. The pineal gland is the body’s circadian master — it regulates melatonin synthesis, modulates circadian clock gene expression (CLOCK, BMAL1, PER, CRY), and has broader neuroprotective effects through antioxidant and anti-apoptotic mechanisms. Pinealon’s mechanism involves penetrating the blood-brain barrier and directly regulating the expression of these circadian genes in neurons and pineal cells, restoring the clock function that degrades with aging and chronic stress.
In women, circadian disruption is particularly consequential: sleep disruption during perimenopause is one of the most commonly reported and poorly managed symptoms, driven by both declining estrogen (which normally promotes sleep) and aging pineal function. Pinealon addresses the pineal/circadian side of this equation — it won’t replace estrogen’s sleep-promoting effects, but it can restore the circadian signalling layer that governs when and how deeply you sleep. Research also shows neuroprotective effects in brain aging models, suggesting a broader longevity application.
Female-calibrated dosing: 2–5mg subcutaneously at bedtime for 10-day cycles, 2–4x per year. Cyclical use mirrors the protocols from Russian research where effects are best documented. Can be stacked with Epithalon during longevity cycles. Some women use it nightly at 1–2mg for sleep support — this is a softer, lower-dose approach.
Storage: Store lyophilized powder below -20°C. After reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 20 days.
